Context

Model classification previously relied on overlapping substring scans and silently classified unknown models as mid-tier. That made model assumptions difficult to audit.

Impact

Adds an ordered, case-insensitive model registry with explicit unknown resolution, preserves the mid-tier fallback for compatibility, and exposes deterministic model warnings through an additive JSON field. Existing central estimates and JSON keys remain unchanged.

  • go vet ./...
  • git diff --check
